Remington 700 ADL Tactical Rifle Trigger Flat Dark Earth FDEIts receiver and action design are based on the Remington Model 700 and deliver the highest level of out-of-the-box accuracy, strength and reliability. Chambered in a broad range of calibers, the Model 700 with the legendary strength of its 3-rings-of-steel receiver paired with a hammer-forged barrel, combine to yield the most popular bolt-action rifle in history.
The Recessed bolt face locks up inside the counter-bored breech of the barrel which is surrounded by the receiver, forming “three rings-of-steel” enclosing the cartridge case head for unparalleled strength, creating one of the strongest and safest actions on the market. An integral extractor is set in a groove inside the rim of the bolt face, uniformly supporting the cartridge head.
As with all other Remington Models, the Model 700 chambered in the various calibers, has a twist rate that are selected for each caliber to optimize accuracy and bullet performance. The free-floating hammer forged barrel has no sights for a modern look and is finished in a polished satin blue. All Model 700 actions are drilled and tapped to accept one or two piece bases for the mounting of optics.
The Flat Dark Earth or FDE Stock is the light but solid synthetic option and Hogue over mouldings to facilitate sure handling. Grip patterns are carefully designed for added comfort and a firm grip. Sling swivels are a standard feature.
