The Remington 700 Classic Deluxe Stainless Fluted (CDL SF) Limited Edition line was launched in 2006 with Remington releasing one new caliber offering per year. The CDL SF Limited Edition is the successor to the model 700 classic, which ran for about 25 years.

The rifle features a beautiful, satin finished, American Walnut stock. It has a classic Monte Carlo comb with raised cheekpiece and a distinctive black fore-end cap. Generous skipline-cut checkering provides excellent grip on the forend and palm swell.

The rifle is chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor and has a satin finished, stainless steel receiver, marked "700 Limited" on the left side. The CDL SF limited edition has Remington's "3 Rings of Steel" which includes:

- A recessed bolt bolt face that completely encloses the cartridge head for maximum protection against case rupture

- The barrel surrounds the bolt shroud for additional strength

-The barrel is threaded into the receiver and machined from hardened steel

The rifle comes equipped with the X-Mark Pro, externally adjustable trigger. Made with stainless steel parts inside and out, the trigger breaks like glass, has almost no creep and is completely user adjustable.

The 4 round internal magazine is covered by a custom, laser-engraved, limited edition floorplate. Each new caliber release has it's own unique artwork design.

Lightweight but dependably accurate, the CDL SF series features a 22", stainless steel, fluted barrel. Hammer forged with a 1:8 twist, this barrel provides unmatched consistency and accuracy, right out of the box.
