Yes…..There is still some use for the old school caddies (slugs??) and this one offers great shell retention with the use use of rare earth magnets. My personal pet peeve has been that once you pull a shell out of the old school caddies, the ones left in the caddy bounce around and fall out!!……Not with this design!! ALL shells are held in place, no matter how many you take out. ALSO…..This shell holder is designed to be put on either the left or right side of the body.

Did we mention how smoooooth the shells come out…..oh my, they do!!
