The Howa 1500 Semi-Heavy Barreled .300 Win Mag Action is an affordable passport to building you’re a superb long-range rifle, without a panic-inducing price tag. Paired with a forged long action (LA) receiver, Howa’s cold hammer-forged barrel is already installed and headspaced, eliminating one of the most difficult parts of building a custom rifle.

Inside, the Howa 1500 Semi-Heavy .300 Win Mag Barreled Action has Howa’s superb one-piece bolt with traditional dual locking lugs plus an M16 style extractor and plunger. It sits just above the two-stage HACT (Howa Actuator Controlled Trigger) that delivers a smooth, consistent pull with a crisp break that can be set between 2.5 and 3.8 lbs. An internal magazine with hinged floorplate is standard equipment, too.
