Red laser cartridge bore sighter is constructed of anodized aluminum and is small enough to store in your range bag so you have it when you need it. Especially useful when sighting in your hunting slug shotgun with expensive ammo. The red laser bore sighter fits in the chamber of your favorite 12 gauge shotgun producing a bright red dot out the end of the barrel so you can "rough-in" or "bore sight" your newly mounted optic or red dot scope. Once you have adjusted the optics aiming point to the location of the red light produced by the laser bore sighter, you can then sight in your shotgun with live ammunition. Bore sighting your rifle decreases the sight in procedure and reduces the amount of ammo needed to properly zero your shotgun. Batteries are included.
